VACATIONS

Parents are asked to notify the School if vacations are planned during the school year in a written note at least one week before the vacation begins. If the student will be gone for several days, assignments should be requested by parents and will be expected to be completed and turned in upon return to the school.

If only a day or two is missed, it is the responsibility of the student, upon return to school, to collect and complete all make-up assignments within the time determined by the teacher. It is the responsibility of the teacher to inform the parents if an extended absence from the school will have a serious detrimental effect on the child’s school achievement.
