DAILY ATTENDANCE

ALL STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED BY THE STATE OF COLORADO TO ATTEND SCHOOL REGULARLY. Any student missing 20 days of school is subject to retention at his/her current grade. The administration and teacher will make this determination based on all relevant criteria.

The first bell rings at 7:55 a.m.. Students are considered tardy if they arrive after the 8:05 a.m. bell. Prayers and opening exercises begin at 8:05 a.m.. If arriving late, students are to report to the office. Parents will be contacted after 3 tardy arrivals. Please remember that all tardies and absences must be excused by the parent or guardian. When your child is absent, please call the school office by 8:15 a.m. to report the absence.

In order to have verification of an absence, a written notice is required for each student upon his/her return to school and will be kept on file.
