ABSENTEE/TARDINESS

If a child will be absent, a parent must call the school office (970-945-7746) between 8:00 A.M. and 8:30 A.M.

Upon return to school, a written note, indicating name, date, days of absence and reason for absence is to be presented to the teacher.

All contagious diseases (Chicken Pox, Scarlet Fever, Mumps, Measles, etc.) must be reported to the local Health Department.

The first bell rings at 7:55 a.m.. Students are considered tardy if they arrive after the 8:05 a.m. bell. Prayers and opening exercises begin at 8:05 a.m.. If arriving late, students are to report to the office. Parents will be contacted after 3 tardy arrivals. Please remember that all tardies and absences must be excused by the parent or guardian. When your child is absent, please call the school office by 8:15 a.m. to report the absence.

In order to have verification of an absence, a written notice is required for each student upon his/her return to school and will be kept on file.
